Last week, the Federation were exhibiting at London’s Surface Design Show alongside nine members firms.
Held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, the show attracted thousands of architects, designers, developers and clients, all looking for surface design solutions, materials and expert advice.

The Stone Gallery is one of the Surface Design Show’s two featured areas, and the focus of it was The Stone Knowledge Hub, a Stone Federation member exclusive area. The aim of the Hub was to provide show visitors with a comprehensive natural stone source point, covering everything from British Stone quarries and marble suppliers through to landscape experts and surface care solution manufacturers.

On the third day of the show we hosted the seminars in The Stone Hub with talks provided by members and architects, all covering different aspects of the industry and applications possible with natural stone. These talks were very well received, and the Federation would like to thank each of the speakers for their part in making The Stone Hub such a success.

The event has proved to be a huge success for the Federation and its members. Across the three days of the show we connected with a large number of high profile architects, developers, designers and contractors, as well distributing hundreds of the Natural Stone Source Book and Natural Stone Awards Brochure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the Federation to promote both natural stone and Stone Federation members to the leading players within the architectural and interior design sectors.
