After a closely fought competition, the team from ConstructionSkills emerged the narrow winners with a very good score of 87 stableford points, just one point ahead of the team from Szerelmey Ltd.

Nearest the pin prizes were awarded on two holes and longest drive prizes on a further two.

A lake in front of the 18th green produced a ‘risk or reward’ scenario with a prize for the closest to the hole into two, but a compulsory donation of £5.00 to Stone Federation nominated charity Macmillan Cancer Support, for those putting the ball in the water.

Organiser Clinton Haigh of Realstone Ltd commented “It was great to re-introduce a highlight of the Stone Federation calendar and a great opportunity to mingle with Stone Federation members and their guests in a convivial, yet competitive environment.  My thanks to all the companies who supported us.  Planning for next year’s Stone Federation Golf Day has already started”.

The next Stone Federation Golf Day will be taking place on 22nd May 2013 at the same course.
