February saw the Federation join with member firms to make up The Stone Knowledge Hub at The Surface Design Show.
Held at London’s Business Design Centre, the show attracted thousands of architects, interior designers, developers and clients looking for surface material inspiration.
Part of the Stone Federation sponsored Stone Gallery, The Stone Knowledge Hub served as a comprehensive natural stone source point, containing everyone from landscape experts and British quarries through to design consultants and international stone suppliers.
Members exhibiting were: Amarestone, CED Ltd, Lovell Stone Group, New Image Stone, Stamford Stone and The Stone Consultants.
The event was a great opportunity to promote both the Federation and our members to the architectural and interior design communities as well as raising the profile of natural stone within these sectors.
The Natural Stone Source Book and Natural Stone Awards brochure proved to be very popular with the show visitors as was the new-look Architects’ Club.
